According to the change in the Energy Performance Regulation in Buildings,

– The buildings with Energy performance B and above in the Energy Performance Certificate,

– The buildings that have at least 10% renewable energy use,

– The Buildings with a total construction area of ​​at least 2000 m2 and above are regarded as Near Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB).

Note: The building that does not meet the principles in the regulation will not have the right to obtain the license given by the relevant administration. A building occupancy permit will not be granted until the deficiencies are completed.

Estimated Time and Conditions

The Renewable Energy Requirement has been determined as 5% and the construction area of ​​the building in question has been determined as 5000 m2 and above in the time period between January 1, 2023 and January 1, 2025.

After January 1, 2025, the Renewable Energy Requirement is 10% and the buildings with a construction area of ​​ 2000 m2 and above have to be built as NZEB.
